Best Burgers in Beacon Hill

Boston Food and Love Blog
The 21st Amendment has one of the best burgers in Boston…period. Located in Beacon Hill this hidden gem is one of our favorite spots in town. Walking into the 21st Amendment is like taking a time capsule back time. Everything in this restaurant/bar reminds us of pictures from the 19th century, from the dark wooden furniture to the old-fashioned fireplace. We went in at around 9:00pm last Friday night with James’ sister and her boyfriend and were seated in no more than twenty minutes. The waiter was very attentive and the food was spectacular.

21st Amendment to Sponsor ‘Throwback Thursdays”

The Beacon Hill Times

The 21st Amendment at 150 Bowdoin St. is partnering with some of Boston’s biggest celebrities to host the first annual “Throwback Thursdays: A Summer of Charity” series.

Every Thursday through the month of August, one local celebrity will team up with a veteran 21st Amendment employee as guest bartenders to raise money for a New England charity of their choice. Celebrities include Dropkick Murphys member Josh “Scruffy” Wallace, Jenny Johnson of “TV Diner, former Boston Bruin Bobby Sweeney and former New England Patriot Max Lane.

This event will pool the unlimited resources of these legendary community members to raise money for four charities: the Alliance for Lupus Research, the Claddagh Fund, the Pan-Mass Challenge and the Boston Bruins Foundation. The event will be raffling off a plethora of prizes from Red Sox tickets to gift certificates and will feature a special cocktail – proceeds to be donated to charity, courtesy of the 21st Amendment.

Former New England Patriot Max Lane was the celebrity bartender at the first installment of the 21st Amendment’s August series “Throwback Thursdays — A Summer of Charity.” Tips from the night went to the
Alliance for Lupus Research. This Thursday’s fund-raising event will benefit the Boston Bruins Foundation, with retired Bruin Bob Sweeney serving as the celeb behind the bar. Dropkick Murphys fans should visit the 21st Amendment on the 23d when Josh “Scruffy’’ Wallace pours drinks for the Claddagh Fund.
